If you are looking to add a bit of glam to your summer wardrobe, consider taking your shoes to the next level by pairing them with one of my favorite summer staples: pearl jewelry.

Pearl is a natural material that can be molded to fit almost any shape, size, or color. And if you’re going to go the flashy route with your shoes, you should also consider adding pearl studs to the toe of your shoes. Why you would want to do that is beyond me, but you get the point.

You can get just as good leather goods for cheap online. Just use a site like Etsy to sell your handmade leather goods and you’ll never have to worry about being ripped off. You can also get shoes from a number of other companies that specialize in the same type of work, like Bosteel or New Balance.

The other main problem with leather is that youll end up spending much more time trying to find the one perfect pair. A $4 pair of shoes you could find at a drug store for $20 would take you 20 hours just to find the one that suits you perfectly. If you live in a small town, this might be a problem. If it’s a big city, you might not have much of a choice but to go the expensive route.

As with any other type of clothing, the main reason people wear leather is to protect your skin from the cold. Thats why leather shoes are a must for most people who live in cold climates. But if you live in a hot city, the chances are you’ll have to take the cheaper route. And don’t get me started on the hot and cold debate.

Its true, leather is the most expensive of all the materials used to make shoes, but its also the most common. It is also the material that has the least wear and tear and the most comfortable fit. Because its a softer material that doesn’t shrink, the leather does not create a lot of friction on your feet.
