In the real world, shoes are used to support the foot to create support. When you’re standing or walking your shoes create a cushion and a platform for your feet to rest on. The different colors of the shoes serve to highlight the different levels of the self-awareness. White soles are considered the “lower self awareness”, black shoes are considered “higher awareness” and the shoes with the red soles are considered “super aware”.
The same principle of self awareness applies to our shoes as it does to our clothes—it’s all about what we choose to focus on. To be self aware in a particular area of our life, we have to be aware of the different levels of self awareness available to us.
So I know what you’re thinking.
I know what youre thinking.
The idea that we might not be able to control our own environment isn’t really an idea that comes to mind when I think of self-awareness. I think that the idea of self-awareness is actually the whole point of being self aware. You need to know what and how you are you in order to be yourself. Self-awareness is the ability to view yourself in a new light, to see yourself as someone who is different, and who you can potentially be.
It’s not a matter of knowing how you are, but understanding that you are and how you can be yourself. It is a whole different story.
Self-awareness, on the other hand, involves a whole whole lot of thinking. It is not a matter of knowing what you are, but thinking that you are and what you can actually be.
The best way to approach self-awareness is to start thinking about it. Thinking about yourself in a new light is really hard, and one of the best ways to do it is to do a daily exercise. Try to think of something good that you could do this day. Write it down on a piece of paper, put it in your pocket, and let it grow. Then you are not just thinking about yourself, you are actually thinking about yourself.
The key is to start thinking about your goals. What are you trying to accomplish in your day? Are you trying to get a specific job done? Are you trying to get your kids to take a test? Are you trying to learn to play the guitar? Are you just writing a blog? Whatever you are trying to accomplish in your day, it’s important to start thinking about how you are going to accomplish it.
We call this “goal setting” because in the past, when we set goals for ourselves, we were typically thinking about a single, vague goal and then, once we had accomplished that goal, we would think about how we are going to accomplish it over the next day or week. But now, with the advent of social media, there is so much social interaction that this process can take on a whole new meaning.
